Romeo Tom Holland finds Juliet for upcoming Shakespeare production

Tom Holland starrer, the upcoming production of Shakespeare’s beloved tragedy, Romeo and Juliet, just announced its cast.
According to Yahoo Movies, the project, helmed by The Jamie Lloyd Company revealed the full cast they took on board.
Holland, who will be headlining the performance as Romeo, teamed up with Francesca Amewudah-Rivers, as Juliet. Her accredited works include Bad Education (BBC), Macbeth (Shakespeare’s Globe) and Antigone (Mercury Theatre).
Expressing his excitement, the Spiderman star said, “Beyond excited to announce our cast for Romeo and Juliet. I can’t wait to get started and I know we’ll create something really special together.”
Meanwhile, Francesca Amewudah-Rivers added, “I’m so grateful to be making my West End debut as Juliet with The Jamie Lloyd Company. It’s a dream to be joining this team of incredible artists with Jamie at the helm.”
“I’m excited to bring a fresh energy to this story alongside Tom, and to welcome new audiences to the theatre,” she added.
Romeo and Juliet, the Jamie Lloyd directorial will make its premiere at the Duke of York’s Theatre, on May 23 2024, with its previews airing from May 11, 2024.
