Terry Crews spills on B99 reunion after Andre Braugher's death

Terry Crews recently spoke of his reunion with Brooklyn Nine-Nine cast after Andre Braugher’s death.

A few weeks earlier, the hit sitcom’s cast reunited as the 55-year-old actor and Melissa Fumero made a joint post on Instagram and shared a picture where they posed with Andy Samberg, Chelsea Peretti, Joe Lo Truglio, Stephanie Beatriz, Joel McKinnon Miller and Dirk Blocker.

"Could not have described last night any better…! NINE-NINE," the caption read.

Terry spoke of the meetup with PEOPLE and shared that the group celebrated the life of their late co-star who played Captain Holt on the NBC show.

"Oh man, reuniting with the cast. We laughed, we cried, we missed Andre Braugher, who we lost a few months ago. It was our time to reminisce and just think about how special our time together was,” he said.

After spending eight seasons together, Terry expressed gratitude for getting to work with such a “wonderful” cast.

"To have a sitcom go that long — I don't know if it's going to happen again. It's very rare and we all recognize how fortunate we are and we love each other. We'll always be a family. We'll always be connected,” he said.

Andre passed away on December 13, 2023 at age of 61.

According to the Mirror, he was diagnosed with cancer a few months before he passed away.

He rose to fame with his roles as a police officer in Homicide: Life On The Street, as detective Frank Pembleto, and was loved dearly among comedy fans for playing Captain Holt in the hit sitcom.
