Hudson released her song on Thursday March 28 and revealed in a statement that she dedicated the song to her 20-year-old son Ryder Russell.

Hudson recalled saying, “I was so young when Ryder was born. I look back and marvel; I was almost a kid, too, so we were able to fall in love with growing up at the same time. And when you listen to the song and watch, it sweeps you up like someone's arms around you.”

The Glass Onion: A Knives Out Mystery star, captioned the video of her song Live Forever calling it “love letter to parents and the kids waving goodbye,” in an Instagram post

Hudson added, “Our babies leave us eventually and we have to watch them go take on the world. Some of us were so young that we were trying to figure out who we were simultaneously. That’s this song for me.”

For those unversed Hudson welcomed her first child Ryder in 2004, with her ex-husband, Chris Robinson. She is also the mother of a 12-year-old son Bingham with ex Matt Bellamy, and 5 year old daughter Rani, with fiancé Danny Fujikawa.
