Bethenny Frankel revealed that she is also one of the victims of the ongoing New York City punching epidemic.

On Wednesday Bethenny left a (now deleted) comment on a TikTok video posted by a fashion student, Mikayla Toninato sharing her experience being assaulted,

Frankel revealed she was randomly punched on a NYC Street earlier this year, too.

She wrote, “This is insane bc this happened to me a few months ago but I was embarrassed to say, I was on the UWS [Upper West Side]. Insane. I was taking video of a bakery.”

Later the Real Housewives of New York City alum shared a video of her own on TikTok sharing the horrific experience.

She started the video saying, “I saw a woman talking about the fact that she had been punched in the face on the street. And I commented, 'Oh my god, the same thing happened to me”

She recalled being embarrassed to share the traumatic incident, “I actually recorded my reaction to it that day but felt embarrassed or weird to post it."

Frankel shared that she was on a hunt to find an apartment in New York where she stopped by a bakery and started recording the displayed items, and when she turned to leave a man allegedly punched her.

She was completely stunned and went outside to complain the security who confronted the man. Frankel claimed that she didn't want to provoke him further and wanted to "get the hell out of here."

"And at that point, I texted the broker and said, I don't want to see apartments anymore this city's insane," she added.

Frankel's admission about the alleged incident came after more than 25 women shared their horror stories on TikTok of being attacked in NYC in broad daylight in recent months, as per Page Six report.

The incident appears to be linked with a trend in NYC called the “knockout game” in which young people dare each other to sucker-punch a stranger.

As reported by Page Six, the NYPD (New York Police Department) has confirmed the incident of 23-year-old fashion student, but police said it was unclear whether the viral incidents were connected.
