Terry Crews recalls 'honorary' moment with Taylor Swift at Grammys

Terry Crews felt honored when he shared a moment with Taylor Swift at the Grammys 2024.

The 55-year-old actor recalled Trevor Noah’s monologue during the ceremony in February when he mentioned him and the popstar together.

During the show, when the comedian was talking about Taylor, the camera instantly cut to the B99 star.

“I’m gonna get revenge. Every time someone says Taylor Swift. I’m going to cut the cameras to someone who plays football,” he said, taking a dig at the attention the Lover crooner gets during the NFL season because of her boyfriend Travis Kelce.

Sitting a few tables away, Taylor seemed to have liked the joke as she could be seen laughing.

Reminiscing the moment, Terry told US Weekly, “Just to be mentioned in the same sentence as Taylor Swift, the most iconic female star of our time right now [is an honor]. Her, Beyoncé. You know, these are literally the names that you could just say, and everybody knows what you’re talking about.”

He also praised Noah for his hosting skills and said, “I believe [Trevor] will be hosting the Academy Awards very soon.”
