Chris Hemsworth visited his hometown, a remote Australian community in the Northern Territory called Gulin Gulin, where he grew up.

The Thor actor landed in Gulin Gulin a community also known as Bulman via helicopter, where he once lived with his family.

Hemsworth took to Instagram on Monday, April 8, and shared some heartwarming moments with his fans straight from his homestead.

He shared a carousel of photos with the local community member and penned a heartfelt note in the caption as well.

In the photos, community members can be seen wearing red while Hemsworth wearing a grey tank top paired with black shorts.

The carousel also includes a throwback picture of him as a kid posing for a group picture with other community kids.

He wrote in the caption, “When I was younger my family and I lived in a remote community in the Northern Territory. Some of my earliest and happiest memories are from that time."

In another picture of the carousel, he is signing the autograph on one of the kid's shirts.

Hemsworth noted that he paid the visit to his hometown after 35 years, "Now, 35 years later I’ve been lucky enough to take a trip back there."

While showing gratitude to his community for his warm welcome he wrote, "I couldn’t be more grateful to the people of Gulin Gulin for welcoming us with such warmth and kindness. Much love and appreciation (heart emoji).”

Currently, Hemsworth lives in Byron Bay with his wife, Elsa Pataky, and three children including 10-year-old daughter India and 8-year-old twin sons Sasha and Tristan.
