Taylor Swift unveils 'TTPD' lunar-themed lyrics on eclipse day

Taylor Swift teased fans with what seems to be lunar-themed lyrics from her upcoming album, The Tortured Poets Department.

Taking to Instagram Story on Monday, April 8, 2024, the same day of solar eclipse, Swift shared a mysterious video clip.

The video showcased a typewriter in action, typing out the words that stated, “Crowd goes wild at her fingertips/Half moonshine, Full eclipse.”

This snippet comes alongside a link for fans to preorder the album, set to drop at midnight on April 19.

Just two days before this teaser, the Blank Space singer had started a 13-day countdown to the release of The Tortured Poets Department, marking the days with her favorite number, 13.

Taylor Swift announced her album during her acceptance speech for best pop vocal album for Midnights at the Grammy Awards on February 4, revealing that she had been working on it for the past two years.

The album, The Tortured Poets Department is scheduled to release on April 19, 2024.
