Zendaya recently talked about the rare aspects of growing up as a star in Hollywood.
The Challengers star recently sat down for an interview with British Vogue, in which she talked about a variety of different aspects of her life.
Elaborating on the challengers of fame in the Hollywood, the actress shared in the chat, “I think growing up, I always felt like when someone asks for a picture, I have to do it, all the time.”
She went on to explain, “You have to say yes, because you just need to be grateful that you're here.”
“And while I still feel that way, I also have learnt that I can say no, and I can say kindly that I'm having a day off, or I'm just trying to be myself today, and I don't actually have to perform all the time,” she added about the importance of finding work-life balance.
“Now, when I have these moments in my career – like, my first time leading a film that's actually going to be in a theatre – I feel like I shrink, I can't enjoy all the things that are happening to me, because I'm like this,' she remarked as she balled up her fists.
Zendaya continued to confess, “I'm very tense, and I think that I carry that from being a kid and never really having an opportunity to try s**t.”
She even remarked, “And I wish I went to school,” and started a new topic.
