Former Disney Channel star Christy Carlson Romano revealed that she refused to work with the Quiet on Set: The Dark Side of Kids TV team.

The Even Steven alum talked about the documentary makers in a preview of the Tuesday, April 16 episode of Mayim Bialik's Breakdown obtained by Entertainment Weekly.

While calling the documentarians "outsiders" and "people who don't belong to our community,” the former child star said, “And maybe they, maybe if they knew where to put money towards [fixing] a problem, they would."

She continued on to say, “But again, a lot of this has been perceived in a way that's — it's outside baseball. It's not inside baseball, it's outside baseball. These are trauma tourists."

The actress claimed that she had been previously approached by Investigation Discovery to participate in something similar to the project, Quiet on Set.

As per the outlet, Romano added, "I've chosen not to speak about this with anybody, including ID, who originally came to me looking to see if I'd be interested in a doc like this."

She mentioned that she is unsure if she was approached by Quiet on Set makers, she said, “I don't know if it was this doc [Quiet on Set]. But I was approached when I first started advocating three years ago for my own YouTube channel with my own experiences.”

Romano also noted that she was approached by many other reality show producers but she used to turn them down.

“They were like, 'Hey, how do we do this?' and I would combat them with saying, 'Hey, guys, the only way we would do this is if we talk about how do we fix it?' " she added.

Moreover, Romano said she has not watched the series because "it's extremely triggering,” according to Entertainment Weekly.

For those unversed, Romano starred as Ren Stevens on Even Stevens and voiced the titular character of Kim Possible in the early 2000s and both aired on the Disney Channel.
