Dua Lipa recently talked about her cameos in Barbie and Argylle.

The 28-year-old singer spilled the beans on her brief acting gigs during an interview with Time 100 Most Influential People.

While the Golden Globe nominee worked with music producer Mark Ronson on hit Barbie track Dance the Night, she also got a chance to make an appearance in the Greta Gerwig movie as a “Mermaid Barbie.”

Besides this, she also landed herself a 15-minute cameo in the comedic mystery movie Argylle in which she portrayed the villainous character of LaGrange.

Proudly owning her “little baby roles,” Dua told the outlet, “I loved being on set. I love the idea of embodying a different character and having an assignment.”

“I also love when I go to a photo shoot, and I can completely change up my look. It gives me a different persona,” she added.

This isn’t the first time Dua has spoken about her acting gigs.

Previously, in conversation with Vogue, the Houdini hitmaker extended her gratitude towards Greta for the acting role.

“I loved being in the movie because it was just so exciting to be a part of something so special like this with an incredible cast. I feel lucky that [director] Greta Gerwig asked me to be the mermaid,” she had said.
