Ryan Gosling wins praises from Eva Mendes for SNL sketch

Eva Mendes expressed her delight over Ryan Gosling's recent Saturday Night Live performance.

In the show aired on April 13, the Barbie star participated in a sketch titled, Can't Tonight, portraying a character who has embraced Cuban culture after marrying a Cuban woman.

Taking to Instagram on Tuesday, Mendes, who is of Cuban descent, praised her partner, Gosling, referring to his affectionately as "My Cuban Papi."

Alongside the clip from the sketch, Mendes shared how it made her very happy, humorously noting, 'Years of hanging out with my Dad paid off.'

She wrote in the caption, "Coño! My Cuban Papi made this Cuban Mami so happy with this!! Years of hanging out with my Dad paid off. Gracias to the super talented @marcellohdz for this skit. The way you say “Eva Mendes”! And @kenanthompson always crushing. Can’t wait for this trio’s next reunion."

Ryan Gosling and Eva Mendes have been a couple since starring together in the film, The Place Beyond the Pines in 2012. They also share two daughters together.
