Jennifer Lopez shares unusual habit ahead of Met Gala 2024

Jennifer Lopez candidly revealed that she is still in the middle of deciding her look for the annual event as the Met Gala Monday is standing just around the corner.

Vogue took to Instagram on Wednesday, April 17 and shared a candid video of Jennifer Lopez in which she is sharing insights into getting ready for “the biggest night in fashion.”

Lopez said of the magazine’s editor-in-chief, “When Anna [Wintour] calls you, and asks you to co-host the Met Gala along with her it’s kinda the biggest night in fashion and to raise money for the museum, it was a real honor.”

The This Is Me... Now star can be seen in the clip moving around mannequins, expressing her excitement, “It’s a nice thing to be a part of,” she added.

While smiling the actress noted, “I have a few different sketches. I’m still deciding.”

Sharing her unusual habit the Can’t Get Enough singer explained, “I’m also one of those people who chooses at the last minute. Like, I like choices, and then I go, ‘Okay, this is how I feel today.’

“And then we try to kinda create some type of amazing look — ‘cause that is the night for looks!” she continued.

The video is posted along with a caption that notes, “The first Monday in May is less than three weeks away!”

Caption continued, "We caught up with #MetGala co-chair, @jlo at the launch of her collection with @intimissimiofficial to talk everything from what she’ll be wearing on fashion’s biggest night, to what it took to start feeling confident in her own skin."

The Jenny from the Block hitmaker will co-host the event with Zendaya, Bad Bunny and Chris Hemsworth at New York City’s Metropolitan Museum of Art.

This year’s Met Gala theme is 'The Garden of Time', paying homage to the theme for Costume Institute’s spring exhibition, Sleeping Beauties: Reawakening Fashion.
