Tom Cruise's daughter Suri marks milestone birthday without estranged dad

Tom Cruise’s only daughter, Suri Cruise, celebrated her 18th birthday without the superstar, cementing their fractured relationship.

After the images of Suri surfaced online strolling through the streets of New York City with an umbrella, fans' curiosity in her relationship with her father reignited.

The rift between the father-daughter duo, that started in 2012 following Katie Holmes' divorce and cutting ties with the controversial Scientology faith, has now reached a pinnacle as Suri is 18 and can now finally make decisions of her own.

However, according to Daily Mail, Katie’s daughter has already made her mind up: “[Tom] does not exist”.

“Suri will not have any contact with her father, despite being 18, and even if he called, she would not answer”, a source told the publication.

“He does not exist to Katie or Suri, and his daughter does not want to rely on him for anything”, the insider noted reminding that this birthday will also put an end to the child support she received from the Top Gun star.

“She feels that she has one parent and that is her mother”, the source added.
