Morgan Wallan has spoken up about his April 8 incident of tossing a chair from the roof of a six-story bar.

The country singer was briefly arrested almost two weeks ago for allegedly throwing a chair off the building which reportedly landed near two police officers down below.

After maintaining silence over the issue for a week, Katie Smith’s ex has now taken to Twitter to address the issue.

In a two-part response he shared, “I didn't feel right publicly checking in until I made amends with some folks. I’ve touched base with Nashville law enforcement, my family, and the good people at Chief’s.”

The father of one also acknowledged the consequences of his actions and added, “I'm not proud of my behavior, and I accept responsibility.”

Morgan, who is currently in the middle of his One Night at a Time Tour, concluded his post by adding, “I have the utmost respect for the officers working every day to keep us all safe. Regarding my tour, there will be no change. -MW”.

While the Spin You Around crooner was released from jail after posting a bond of $15,250, it was later revealed via an insider that the incident was triggered by the news of his ex-fiancé's marriage.

“KT's marriage to Luke last week just crushed him”, the source claimed at the time.
