Bon Jovi’s former guitarist recently touched on his shocking exit from the band.

As fans will know, Bon Jovi is American rock band with the frontman, Jon Bon Jovi, who is recovering from his vocal surgery, and other founding members.

However, one of the founding members and the band’s guitarist, Richie Sambora parted ways from this band in 2013 without a word.

Touching on this discussion, Richie Sambora finally apologized for his move in a recent chat on the just released 4-episode long docuseries, Thank You, Goodnight: The Bon Jovi Story.

Richie started the discussion by claiming, “I don’t regret leaving the situation.”

“But I regret how I did it,” he even admitted.

He went on to mention, “so I want to apologize fully right now to the fans, especially,” noting, “and also to the guys because my feet and my spirit were just not letting me walk out the door.”

Referring to why he was nowhere to be found amid Bon Jovi group’s departure to Calgary, Alberta, for the 2013’ Rock & Roll Hall of Fame, Richie explained, “I guess if you’re in the mafia, the only thing you possibly do is disappear. And, um, I did,” after which the discussion concluded.
