Calls grow to put Britney Spears in control again

Britney Spears set herself free from conservatorship in 2021. But, since her apparent wild antics are forcing experts to make a case for putting her under control.

The solution to this problem, Dr. Charles Sophy, a renowned Hollywood psychiatrist says, is the Grammy winner must re-enter the conservatorship.

Expressing no surprise at the disturbing reports, the expert told TMZ, "No, it doesn't surprise me at all because the conservatorship was there for a reason, and even though, like you said, it might not have been with the right person, the actual process needs to be in place."

Making a case for the Toxic hitmaker to be put under supervision, the psychiatrist said, "When you have a mental illness of this degree, you need that kind of structure, supervision, and most importantly, to take your medication."

Taking a look back on the conservatorship case, Judge Reva Goetz ordered Britney's father Jamie Spears, and attorney Andrew M. Wallet to be her conservators after she blocked moves to give custody of her kids to ex-Kevin Federline in 2008.
