Chris Hemsworth named his kid after Brad Pitt's famous character

Chris Hemsworth revealed that he named his two sons after a character portrayed by Brad Pitt.

Famed for his role as Thor in Marvel's cinematic universe, Hemsworth opened up about his inspiration behind naming his kids.

Expressing his longtime admiration for Brad Pitt, Hemsworth discussed the 60-year-old actor's role as Tristan Ludlow in the film Legends of the Fall his 

He recounted how the movie was his youth-favorite film that the Marvels star watched repeatedly with his brother.

In an interview with the Variety, he said, "there's never been a more beautiful man on screen."

The Avengers actor shared that he also rewatched the movie with his wife, Elsa Pataky, while she was pregnant with their twins.

Hemsworth recalled that it was then when he decided to name one of his kids after Pitt's character.

"Is this not the coolest character in the world? I think one of our kids needs to be named Tristan," he asked his wife.

The other twin, Sasha, is named after a stuntman friend of Hemsworth, highlighting the personal connections that influence the naming decisions within his family.
