Ryan Gosling and Mikey Day stole the show at The Fall Guy premiere as Beavis and Butt-head, the iconic characters played in a viral SNL skit.
During the Los Angeles premier of Gosling’s latest film, the actor first posed with co-star Emily Blunt in a mint green tie-less suit. However, shortly after, he changed into his character’s signature costume.
For those unversed, the 43-year-old starred alongside Day in an episode of SNL on April 13, where the duo dressed up as the adult animated characters. The sketch followed a serious discussion on Ai, led by Kenan Thompson and Heidi Gardner who broke their characters multiple times during the skit.
The Barbie actor’s costume comprised of a blue shirt with Death Rock written over it in black paired with black shorts and slippers with socks.
Similarly, the 44-year-old skit partner also donned a grey t-shirt with Skull written in Yellow letter, paired with red shorts and the same foot wear as the Golden Globe winner.
The duo turned heads on the red carpet as well as set the Internet ablaze as users turned to Twitter to express their shock and admiration.
A user voiced her surprise as she noted, “ryan gosling and mikey day as beavis and butthead at the... *checks notes* the fall guy premiere in la?? (sic).
While another exclaimed, “What a hilarious and unexpected duo”.
A third user also chimed in and named the appearance as “best red carpet of 2024”, whereas a fourth user suggested a live-action remake of the original animated satire starring the duo.
