Dan Schneider finally hits back at 'Quiet on Set' accusations

Dan Schneider hit back at the accusations made against him in Quiet on Set.

The 58-year-old TV producer has sued the producers for defamation just one month after the docuseries premiered.

In a civil complaint, Dan stated that the production accused him of sexually abusing child actors who worked on his Nickelodeon shows, according to legal documents obtained by TMZ on Wednesday.

Moreover, he is also suing creators including Warner Bros. Discovery, Maxine Productions and Sony Pictures Television.

His lawyers called the docuseries a “hit job” against Dan, adding that the production team allegedly used manipulative editing techniques to create a false impression of him.

They further accused the creators of making things up for “clickbait, ratings, and views – or simply put, money.”

“Dan had no knowledge of their abuse, was not complicit in the abuse, condemned the abuse once it was discovered and, critically, was not a child sexual abuser himself,” the lawyers spoke of the sexual abusers highlighted in the docuseries.

In a statement to In Touch, Dan owned up to the “bad decisions” he made as a boss but still denied the harrowing accusations of abuse.

“There is no doubt that I was sometimes a bad leader. I am sincerely apologetic and regretful for that behavior, and I will continue to take accountability for it,” he said.

Dan continued, “But it is wrong to mislead millions of people to the false conclusion that I was in any way involved in heinous acts like those committed by child predators.”
