Nicholas Galitzine shines at first Met Gala with Anne Hathaway's blessings

Nicholas Galitzine turned heads as he graced the prestigious red carpet of his first-ever Met Gala with blessings of his The Idea of You co-star Anne Hathaway.

The Purple Hearts star exuded elegance and sophistication wearing a bespoke Fendi tuxedo specially designed for the occasion.

Sharing his excitement to be at the star-studded event, Galitzine told Entertainment Tonight that the Princess Diaries star was kind enough to offer him some words of wisdom ahead of the event.

"It's my first Met, so I'm excited to be here," he told the publication, adding that Hathaway “gave me a pep talk this morning. She said, enjoy it."

"I think I'm becoming quite used to these things now," he added. "I have so many friends who are inside, so I'm excited to go see some friends."

Speaking of his hotly released romantic comedy, the actor said the love of fans for the movie has been "been unreal," before sharing, "I am so grateful... I'm feeling a lot of love, which is really nice."

Galitzine turned up at the event following the “Sleeping Beauties” theme. Other notable names at this year’s Met Gala included the likes of Jennifer Lopez, Zendaya, Chris Hemsworth, and Bad Bunny.
