Chris Pratt expresses heartbreak over 'unimaginable tragedy'

Chris Pratt has finally spoken out about the devastating wildfires.

The wildfires, which have spread across Los Angeles, have been worsened by severe winds.

Taking to Instagram Stories on January 9, the actor revealed that his family is safe after "unimaginable tragedy."

"Our family is safe and for that we are grateful. We are absolutely devastated by the unimaginable tragedy," he wrote.

"This is an unimaginable tragedy and my heart goes out to those who have lost everything during this time," the actor added.

He went on to offer help to those in need, writing, "If you or anyone you know might need help, I'll share some resources in the following slides. God Bless."

Pratt's ex-wife, actress Anna Faris also lost her home in the fire but has said her family is safe and grateful.

A representative for the actress has told PEOPLE magazine, “Anna and her family are safe and very grateful.”

Additionally, so far, at least 10 people have died, and tens of thousands have been forced to evacuate.
