The Office star Melora Hardin recently reminisced about her experience working with the late Michael Landon on the iconic series Little House on the Prairie.

Landon, who passed away from pancreatic cancer in 1991 at the age of 54, was not only the star of the show but also contributed as a writer and director during its 1974-1983 run.

Hardin appeared as Belinda, a classmate of Albert Ingalls (played by Matthew Labyorteaux), in season five of the beloved series.

While reflecting on her time on set during an episode of the Still Here Hollywood with Steve Kmetko podcast, Hardin described Landon as “warm” and “sweet,” noting his unique ability to make everyone, from children to adults, feel valued.

In regards to this, she claimed, “He made all the kids and adults feel like he had really chosen you. He just let you do your thing.”

Moreover, she praised Landon’s skills as a director, sharing, “When he ever gave you direction, you never felt admonished by him. He just was lovely. He knew how to talk to kids.”

According to Daily Mail, Hardin returned to reprise her role in the 1983 TV movie Little House: Look Back to Yesterday, where she played Michele, a love interest for Labyorteaux’s character.

Additionally, she fondly recalled sharing her first on-screen kiss with him, a moment that marked a milestone in her acting career, as she revealed, “Matthew and I had our first screen kiss together, and he’s still a very good friend of mine and the godfather of my second daughter.”

As per the publication, Hardin is widely recognized for her portrayal of Jan Levinson on The Office and her role as Trudy Monk on the series Monk.

Over the years, she has appeared in numerous projects, including 24, The Bold Type, and Hannah Montana: The Movie.

Furthermore, the podcast appearance came amid speculation about a potential revival of The Office.

While speaking to The U.S. Sun, Hardin hinted at the possibility of a film adaptation, sharing that she had discussed some ideas with series creator Greg Daniels.

In this regard, she said, "I think a lot of us would [return]. I would love to make a film because it would be quick, and we could bring everybody back for that."
