Cameron Diaz, Jamie Foxx spark real chemistry in 'Back in Action'?

Cameron Diaz and Jamie Foxx had reportedly shared a real chemistry while shooting their new starrer Back in Action.

Seth Gordon, the movie director while revealing that the duo was "finishing each other's sentences" on set of the new action-comedy, told PEOPLE that their friendship actually changed the tone of the new spy film.

According to the filmmaker, seeing their chemistry and that energy together was really “inspiring”.

The 48-year-old director added that their chemistry made him want a little less action and a little more hanging out, so that they could play.

“Because whenever we got to do those scenes, it just breathed life into me and the crew,” Gordon maintained.

The Baywatch director went on to explain, "When you see people just crushing it, it's inspiring for everybody, right? So I tried to do that as much as possible, keeping in mind that the word 'action' is in the damn title, so we can't remove too much stuff. But they're amazing together.”

For the unversed, the Masked actress and the Django Unchained actor, who previously worked together in 1999’s Any Given Sunday and 2014’s film Annie, are playing CIA spies, Emily and Matt in their latest film.
