Justin Timberlake took a moment for Los Angeles fire victims during his Forget Tomorrow World Tour stop on Saturday.

The singer, 43, was performing at the Honda Center in Anaheim, California—about 30 miles away from the ongoing fires—when he paused the show to call attention to the wildfires.

“I want to take a moment to recognise what’s going on in LA I want to give a shout-out to the first responders, firefighters, citizens of the community, all that you gave," Timberlake said on the Anaheim stage.

He continued, “I’m sure so many of us in this room know someone, or is related to someone, or has heard about someone so close to us being affected by this devastating incident. And so many of us onstage either live there and in the crew know people who live there, and we just came from there, and it truly is devastating.”

He concluded, saying, "I just wanted to recognise how beautiful it is, how well everyone has responded in that area. And I just wanted to say: Keep your thoughts and prayers with L.A. Donate if you can — if you can — but thoughts and prayers with L.A. Thank you so much, Anaheim.”

Timberlake's tour kick-started on April 29 in Vancouver after the release of his album Everything I Thought It Was in March.

His next stop will be at Palm Desert, California on Monday.

The Eaton and Palisades fires are reported to be at 73% and 59% containment as of Monday afternoon, People Magazine reported.
