Hoda Kotb surprises her fans with Jenna Bush Hager, Savannah Guthrie

Hoda Kotb made a heartfelt return alongside Jenna Bush Hager and Savannah Guthrie on the Today show.

Taking to her Instagram, the 60-year-old Kotb posted a photo with her former coworkers.

All three ladies can be seen smiling while having lunch together.

Kotb also added a caption under her post that read, "I love Wednesdays!! @savannahguthrie @jennabhager. Also remember when you had that big goodbye party and now I am like…… HIIIIIIIIIIII!”

The 53-year-old Guthrie also shared the post on her Instagram Stories and scribbled, "Reunion."

Following in the footsteps of Princess Wear Pants author, the 43-year-old Hager also posted the same post on her Instagram Stories and penned, "Love these babes."

Notably, this meetup happened in less than two weeks after Kotb's 17-year tenure on Today ended on Friday, January 10.

The renowned journalist and broadcaster proclaimed her decision to leave the NBC morning show in September 2024.

Speaking to PEOPLE magazine in October last year, Kotb reflected on her decision to leave the show, saying that she wanted to spend more time with her daughters, Haley Joy and Hope Catherine.

“I knew that I wanted this decade to be different. I looked at my time like a pie. I was like, 'This is how much time I get, and now what am I going to do with it and how am I going to carve it up?' And I wanted it to be filled with more of them,” she explained.

It is pertinent to mention that, per the same outlet, Hoda Kotb has not completely left NBC, as she plans to be a part of the network in some way, which is still "being formulated."
