Matthew McConaughey makes rare appearance with daughter Vida

Matthew McConaughey, an American actor, attended the UT Women’s Basketball game, which was against the Tennessee Volunteers, along with his daughter, Vida.

The 15 year old donned a Texas Longhorns shirt along with a pair of blue jeans. Her 55 year old father similarly wore blue jeans along with a white shirt and a brown suede jacket.

The outing comes after Via celebrated turning 15 on 4 January, for which both Matthew and his wife, Camila Alves McConaughey, shared posts on their Instagram accounts.

"Vida. 15 years. Thanks for being my tech guru, so savvy, and for loving to grow things,” wrote Matthew along with a picture of a much younger Vida as she played in the dirt.

Making a reference to his wife’s Brazilian heritage, he ended the caption with "Love Papai,” which means “daddy” in Portuguese.

"Yesterday this force of a girl turned 15! May you never forget that the first person to love is YOU…. Your name says it all…Vida!,” read Camila’s caption as she posted several photos of Vida, including ones where she read a book as a child and played with animals.

She concluded, “We love you so much words can not express!"
