Sarah Jessica Parker has just now revealed her plan to skip the Met Gala 2025.
In an interview with Entertainment Tonight, the S** And The City actress candidly discussed her reasons for not attending the forthcoming fashion event, formerly known as Costume Institute Benefit.
"I have to work...but there's gonna be so much to see and I loook forward to seeing what everybody does and how they interepret the theme and the sort of homework they did for the assignment,” she said.
However, Parker’s interested in seeing how other celebrities execute a theme, superfine: tailoring black style for the event, of 2025.
"I care a lot about it and I want to try to really honour the work of the curators and everbody who sort of inspired the moment for those of us who get to attend," she noted.
Moreover, the Hollywood actress, who has been a regular to the fashion event in years past revealed that her children, James Wilkie, Marion, and Tabitha, don’t take any style guidance from her.
"They don't...they come to me as a parent to the degree that any 15-year-old, almost 16-year-old, comes to a parent. But it isn't anything to do with any relationship that I have with fashion. It's a rather routine question that a child may ask a parent for advice. I don't think they are uniquely because I may have spent some time in a pretty dress,” Parker concluded.
