Cardi B just explained why her upcoming album has been delayed.
The 32-year-old American rapper took to her official Instagram account to come live and address her fans who been waiting for her follow-up to 2018’s debut, Invasion of Privacy.
Revealing that the WAP hitmaker is waiting for some artists she has collaborated with to send in their parts for their designated songs, she exclaimed in the video, “I really need these f**king features.”
She continued, “And it’s like I’m not really trying to press or go crazy on these artists because I love them down.”
“But it’s like, come on now! I need that! I need that right now! Helloooo! Y’all don’t want to miss this opportunity. I’ll sing this s**t myself! But I really need y’all and I need y’all to hurry up and I love y’all. I feel like nobody want to miss being on this album,” the Boadak Yellow talent added.
Cardi B, who has collaborated with many A-list artists such as Megan Thee Stallion, Bruno Mars, Lizzo and Migos previously, now revealed that she has worked with old collaborators as well as some new faces, too.
She teased, “I don’t have a lot of features, but I’m working with artists, some that I have worked with before and some that I haven’t worked with before. And the ones that I have not worked with before, I feel like it’s gonna really, really surprise y’all.”
“It’s such a vibe. I’m 100 per cent confident with this album. I just don’t think what I got is out there,” Cardi B concluded.
