Benny Blanco hints at wedding prep so far with Selena Gomez

Benny Blanco is giving fans an insider look at his wedding planning so far with Selena Gomez.

The music producer, 37, spilled the beans in the April 30 episode of the Table Manners with Jessie and Lennie Ware podcast, where he revealed there is one thing he is certainly sure of concerning the nuptials.

“We haven't figured out like anything in our wedding yet — the only thing I've said straight up, as a part of the food, is that I want [Jewish cook and food writer] Jake [Cohen] to do the challah," Blanco explained.

“That's all I care about,” he added. “He makes the best challah I've ever had.”

Challah is a special bread in Jewish cuisine, which is typically made out of yeast and braided.

Cohen’s recipe includes honey, sesame, fennel, poppy, nigella, and/ or cumin and sea salt to garnish, per Connecticut Public.

Besides the Jewish dish, Blanco also opened up about his love for corn-based items, which Gomez also resonated with.

Gomez said, “I love [it], like, because you can make it the Mexican street with all of [the corn]. [That’s] how I grew up.”

Lennie Ware then joked if their "wedding's gonna be picky bits," to which the music producer jokingly agreed, “Just corn.”

Gomez also shared that she would be open to a “special dance” with her maternal grandfather because she wanted her grandfather to “have the opportunity to” get to experience being a part of the wedding events that he missed out on with her mother’s wedding.

Gomez and Blanco confirmed their relationship in December 2023 and announced their engagement a year later in December 2024.
