A 'friend' of King Charles has disclosed true feelings of the monarch for his grandchildren Princess Lilibet and Prince Archie following their father Prince Harry’s latest interview.
According to a report by the Scottish Daily Express, the insiders told Grazia, King Charles is ‘very sad’ he has not spent any time with Archie and Lilibet.
In an interview with the BBC, Prince Harry said: “There have been so many disagreements between myself and some of my family. I would love reconciliation with my family. There's no point continuing to fight any more, life is precious.”
However, the sources close to the monarch claimed: “The King does not like conflict and he would love for this all to be resolved but Harry has to earn the trust back. The ball is in his court in that respect.
“The King loves his son and he is very sad he has not spent any time with Archie and Lilibet, but Harry hasn’t made reconciliation easy.
“But the door is always open as far as the King is concerned. He’s a magnanimous man, not a malicious one, but his priority is the preservation of the monarchy.”
Meghan Markle and Prince Harry’s children have reportedly not seen King Charles since they visited UK for Queen Elizabeth’s Platinum Jubilee celebrations in 2022.
Now, according to a report by the People magazine, Prince Harry says he can’t see bringing Archie and Lilibet back to the UK: ‘They’re going to miss everything.’
