King Charles blocks Kate Middleton, Prince William from power move

King Charles has made a major decision for Prince William and Kate Middleton.

The monarch has postponed the key royal tradition that would allow the Prince and Princess of Wales to issue royal warrants, as reported by Hello! Magazine.

For those unaware, royal warrants is a historic seal of approval granted to companies that supply goods or services to the Royal Family.

However, the delay means that businesses hoping to receive formal recognition from Kate and William will have to wait a little longer now.

Speaking with the outlet, royal editor Emily Nash stated, “For the brands and companies, having the endorsement of a royal warrant from William and Kate would bring huge kudos as well as a huge boost.”

“We’ve seen the impact of the ‘Kate effect’ on fashion over the years, so this official royal seal of approval would be huge for the designers, services and companies the couple favour,” she added further.

It is worth mentioning that whenever King Charles is yet to give a go-ahead, Kate Middleton, wife of Prince William, would become the first Princess of Wales to grant royal warrants since 1910.
