Rod Stewart appeared in good spirits as he cheered on his beloved Celtic Football Club alongside his 19-year-old son Alastair Wallace Stewart at Celtic Park on Saturday.
The legendary rock star, dressed in a classic black-and-white tuxedo with his trademark tousled blonde hair, joined fans to watch Celtic lift the Scottish Premiership trophy on the final day of the season in Glasgow, as per Daily Mail.
The father-son duo looked elated as they sang along with the crowd before kickoff, soaking up the celebratory atmosphere.
As per the publication, Rod was seen engaging warmly with fans and sharing a heartfelt hug with Celtic FC Women’s manager Elena Sadiku before the match began.
Celtic’s dramatic last-minute equalizer by James Forrest only added to the festivities, as the team secured a draw before lifting the league trophy under the Scottish sunshine.
The outing also came as Alastair, Rod’s rarely-seen son with wife Penny Lancaster recently shared that he’s shifting his focus from fashion to film.
While speaking earlier this month, Alastair revealed he’s left fashion college and is now pursuing screenwriting and directing, describing it as a “transitional period” in his life.
As per the outlet, Rod and Alastair’s latest public appearance follows their recent attendance at the Mission: Impossible – The Final Reckoning premiere in London, where the Stewart family made a striking entrance on the red carpet.
Rod Stewart, who has eight children with five women, continues to share meaningful moments with his growing family, this time with football, fashion, and future film dreams all playing a part.
