Tom Cruise recently gushed over Michael B. Jordan.
In a chat with PEOPLE at Mission: Impossible - The Final Reckoning's New York City premiere on Sunday, the A-listed star praised the young actor.
The 62-year-old began the chat by saying that he found it "wonderful" to spend time with actor Michael B. Jordan at Mission: Impossible's May 15 premiere in London.
"Oh listen, it's wonderful to see him,” Tom remarked and gave a nod to the young star by saying, “Really, he's enormously talented.”
“And what he and [Ryan] Coogler do together... he's a great actor," he said of the team of Sinners director Ryan Coogler with Michael.
It is pertinent to mention here that the duo, Ryan and Michael, has previously worked together on movies like Black Panther, Creed and Fruitvale Station together.
"He's dedicated to his brand. I really respect him. Respect Coogler, I love that film. I love the films that they make. It's brilliant, you know, big cinema."
"I admire what they do and I love to see people do well in life. That is a thing that I work very hard to do — all I can to help people and see them do well," he continued.
Tom concluded by stating, "Filmmakers, actors — people know always my door's always open, so I'm very excited about what they're creating and it's always inspiring. It goes back and forth."
