The charity shared the news on its official X, formerly Twitter handle.

The journey began in Vancouver, British Columbia, at the conclusion of the Invictus Games Vancouver Whistler 2025, where the flag was passed to Team UK, the hosts for Birmingham 2027.

From there, it embarked on its journey to the British Army Training Unit Suffield (BATUS), where it was welcomed by British and Canadian forces. The flag was conveyed across the North Atlantic aboard HMCS Ville de Québec.

This leg of the journey was granted courtesy of the Canadian Navy, helping to carry forward the Invictus Spirit across the seas and strengthen bonds within an international community.

On its website, the officials say, “Upon reaching the UK earlier this month, the next chapter of the flag’s odyssey will begin aboard HMS Prince of Wales (PWLS), one of the Royal Navy’s most advanced aircraft carriers.”
