Taylor Swift just supported Kobe Bryant’s daughter, Natalia.
On Sunday, the eldest daughter of the late basketballer, uploaded a TikTok of herself lip-syncing to the pop star’s song, Nothing New (Taylor’s Version) alongside her three friends.
The clip featuring the four recent University of Southern California graduates wearing matching white minidresses, smiling and celebrating their achievement, was liked by Taylor herself.
Particularly the choice of lyrics Natalia went for from the song, is appropriate for the 22-year-old, where the artist sings, “How can a person know everything at 18 but nothing at 22? And will you still want me when I’m nothing new?”
While accepting her diploma, Natalia did not forget to pay special tributes to her late father, which was shown by her mother, Vanessa, via a video.
Natalia’s graduation sash had the words "Thank you Mom & Dad," embroidered inside in USC’s signature yellow and red colors.
It also featured her father’s sheath logo, which, in a 2014 Esquire interview, Kobe Bryant explained was inspired by a samurai sword and meant "raw talent."
For the unversed, the iconic sportsman passed away in 2020, along with his 13-year-old daughter, Gianna Bryant and six other family friends due to a helicopter crash.
