Kim Kardashian is celebrating her 6-year law school journey following her graduation.
The SKIMS founder, 44, opened up on Thursday about completing her "unconventional" Law Office Study Program in a lengthy note that was accompanied by pictures from her private backyard ceremony.
“Six years ago, I embarked on an unconventional path to pursue my dream of becoming a lawyer. It wasn’t easy, and it took longer than planned, but I never gave up,” the mom of four wrote.
"Each course brought moments of doubt, tears, and triumph - especially when I conquered subjects I initially feared. That’s the beauty of life: you step into the unknown, push through, and emerge with knowledge and strength no one can take away.”
The Kardashians star also addressed any critics who doubted the legitimacy of her accomplishment.
“I chose a rigorous program registered with the California State Bar, building on 75 college credits to complete a four-year curriculum that stretched to six. The journey was real, and so is the accomplishment.”
The reality star also gave a shout-out to Chris Young, Michelle West, and Dawn Jackson – people that she and her team “championed for their release from prison,” and also thanked her mentors Jessica Jackson and Erin Haney, and CNN political analyst Van Jones who introduced her to this path.
“This experience has shaped me profoundly, and I’ll carry its lessons with me forever. Here’s to celebrating resilience and new beginnings!” she concluded.
Kardashian's backyard, private ceremony was attended by her mentors, friends, and close family. Other photos in the carousel showed her family and friends throwing caps in the air, Kardashian holding up a certificate of completion, and her son Psalm, 6, and daughter Chicago, 7, wearing suits, among other moments from the intimate celebration.
Kardashian first announced the achievement on Wednesday in an Instagram Story post, writing, "I finally graduated law school after six years!!!"
During the private ceremony, Jackson detailed Kardashian's time commitment and work ethic, revealing that the SKKN by Kim founder "dedicated 18 hours a week, 48 weeks a year for six straight years."
For those unversed, Kardashian began her journey with an apprenticeship with a law firm in San Francisco in 2018 instead of attending traditional law school. Three years later, she took the “baby bar” – known as the First-Year Law Student's Examination – and passed on her fourth try.
