Miley Ray Cyrus breaks silence on dad Billy's romance with Elizabeth Hurley

Miley Cyrus is showing support for dad Billy Ray Cyrus and mother Tish Ray Cyrus embarking on their individual love life after their divorce.

Speaking about her father's recent relationship with actress Elizabeth Hurley, the Flower hitmaker revealed that it was at first hard to accept as the "little kid" inside her always wants her parents to be together.

"At first it’s hard, because the little kid in you reacts before the adult in you can go, 'Yes, that's your dad, but that’s just another person that deserves to be in his bliss and to be happy.' My child self has caught up," Miley confessed in an interview with The New York Times published May 31.

The Disney alum continued, "Now that my mom is so in love with my stepdad, who I completely adore, and now that my dad, I see him finding happiness, too—I can love them both as individuals instead of as a parental pairing."

"I'm being an adult about it," she added.

It is pertinent to mention that Billy and the Austin Powers actress first announced their relationship in April on Easter Sunday and made their first red carpet debut as a couple at the Orizzonti, Rosso exhibition opening dinner at Palazzo Barberini in Rome, Italy on May 24.

Whereas, Miley's mom Tish has been married to Prison Break's Dominic Purcell for almost two years.
