Jennifer Lopez said she is moving forward with a new sense of freedom after finalizing divorce from Ben Affleck.
The singer and the Accountant star’s divorce was finalized earlier this year two years after they exchanged vows in 2022.
Speaking with People Magazine, JLo shared how she is focusing on her career and has a busy summer ahead, including a planned tour and several public appearances.
“I’m excited to tour,” said Lopez ahead of her The Jennifer Lopez: Up All Night Live in Las Vegas residency.
“I’m working on that show right now too as we speak, and crafting the tour as well. I’m excited to get back out there,” she added.
She told the publication that she will celebrate her freedom and happiness this summer, noting how everything in her life is “good.”
“It seems like a perfect summer to celebrate being free and being happy,” said the singer-actor.
“Just everything in my life right now just feels really healthy and good, and I’m ready to get out there and make people sing and dance and have a good time.
“That’s always my goal.”
Lopez will kick off her Jennifer Lopez: Up All Night Live in Las Vegas residency on December 30, 2025, at The Colosseum at Caesars Palace.
However, an insider shared with Radar Online that she is under intense pressure following the failure of her last tour, album, and documentary, and fears that the public no longer supports her.
While she appears excited about the tour, sources close to the singer say she’s hiding anxiety and sadness and is still "pining" for Affleck.
"Jennifer may be telling people she's 'excited' to get back to touring after last year's disappointment, but it doesn't take away the jitters.
"She's very good at making this seem like a big adventure,” they added. “She's assuring everyone that she’s ready to go out there and tackle this comeback tour dream that she had to put on hold.”
Lopez is “saying she's fired up and talking a lot about how excited she is, but everyone knows she's also dealing with serious fears,”
