Bryce Dallas Howard reveals if she would return to 'Jurassic World' franchise

While Bryce Dallas Howard isn’t in the upcoming Jurassic World movie, she wouldn’t say never to returning to the franchise later.

During her appearance on the Watch What Happens Live on Tuesday, June 10, to promote her new action-comedy Deep Cover, Bryce was asked if she’d like to return to her role in the franchise.

"I would definitely always come back as the character if that made sense. But I think it’s really right for the franchise to take the story in a different direction," the actress, who played Claire Dearing in the Jurassic World trilogy, said. "I mean, Jurassic has always been more about the dinosaurs than it’s been about the human characters, and so I think it’s wonderful."

"Plus, Scarlett Johansson is in it and I’m like, obsessed with her. And Mahershala Ali," she added of the cast of Jurassic World Rebirth, which also stars Jonathan Bailey.

Bryce costarred opposite Chris Pratt in 2015's Jurassic World, 2018's Fallen Kingdom, and 2022's Dominion.

The Village actress previously told People she was sad to say goodbye to the franchise.

"It's very sad to say goodbye to something so wonderful. But also, I'm very excited for the folks who will carry the Jurassic saga forward, you know?" she said in 2022.

"It will be with a largely different cast and all of that, and that's something that is to be celebrated," said Bryce Dallas Howard.

Jurassic World: Rebirth will hit theaters on July 2.
