Michelle Monaghan returns to lighter locks after craving White Lotus blonde

Michelle Monaghan is missing her blonde locks from the third season of White Lotus.

The actress, who briefly returned to her brunette tresses for a few projects after playing a blonde TV actress named Jaclyn in White Lotus, recently headed back to the salon ahead of the summer for a brighter look.

"I'm craving that change again and that transformation," the actress told People Magazine. "I just wanted to be lighter and brighter for this summer. I'm really excited to shed the brunette once again and get to play around with being blonde."

However, Monaghan is aiming for a low maintenance blonde this summer to avoid worrying too much on vacations. "I don't think we'll be as blonde as Jaclyn, but I think we'll be somewhere in between," the actress added.

Her colourist Kirby Lago revealed she's opting for a "buttery, warm" blonde for Monaghan.

"I'm creating a really soft hazel base and then really popping it with some buttery warm blonde tones," Lago told the magazine. "It'll be really nice on her skin tone."
