Sandra Oh has finally given a verdict about returning to Grey’s Anatomy.
Sandra played Dr. Cristina Yang in the show and was one of the original stars of the long-running drama. She left the show in 2014.
The Killing Eve star spoke with The Interview co-host Lulu Garcia-Navarro about her possible return after 11 years.
“What I have noticed, this is 10 years out from leaving the show, is the deep appreciation that I have for the people who appreciate Cristina," she gushed.
"It is that love that has made me go, ‘Oh. The fans really, really, really want it,’ and for the first time, that's when I started opening up the idea,” the Golden Globe-winning star said.
“But for me, I think to really be true to the people who enjoy your work, you have to be true to yourself. So at this point, I don't think so,” she added.
The five-time Emmy-winning actress was accompanied in Grey’s Anatomy by original stars Ellen Pompeo, Katherine Heigl, Justin Chambers, T.R. Knight, Chandra Wilson, James Pickens Jr., Isaiah Washington, and Patrick Dempsey.
Since her exit from the show, Sandra Oh has starred in shows like American Crime, The Chair, Invincible, and won a Golden Globe for her portrayal of Eve Polastri in Killing Eve.
