Jennifer Aniston recently got candid and opened up about work-life balance.
In an interview with PEOPLE magazine, the 56-year-old American actress, who rose to fame from her role of Rachel Green in the famous sitcom FRIENDS, admitted that she often struggles to take time out for herself while being a part of the entertainment world, as it's hectic and demanding.
Articulating her thoughts, Aniston revealed, "I'm a bit of a workaholic, so I'm forcing myself to try to take some time to travel and not work.”
The Murder Mystery star, who has launched a new campaign with Smartwater, added, "It's so critical, I know, but I'm not good at it.”
She went on to note by saying, "Our work is diminishing returns at the end of the day, if you're just working so much that you don't have any wonderful life experiences.”
The Emmy, Golden Globe and SAG Award winner confessed that her focus has shifted and she now gives paramount importance to maintaining a better work-life balance for herself.
Referring to busy schedules due to her high demand in Hollywood, Aniston stated, “I'm trying to take it easy, because this was a really intensive few years of work.”
"I'm trying desperately to learn how to create those auto replies when emails and texts come in, where it's like, 'I'm away forever. But call me in December; I'll be back,’” The Break-Up alum conceded.
It is pertinent to mention that Jennifer Aniston, who plays the role of Alex Levy in Apple TV+'s The Morning Show, is currently busy filming its fourth season, which will be released later this year.
