Angelina Jolie in tears over ex-Brad Pitt's latest move

Angelina Jolie is seemingly heartbroken as Brad Pitt cut ties with two of their children.

Sources told Radar Online that the 50-year-old American actress and filmmaker admitted she feels sad because her ex-husband has cut ties with their two oldest sons, Maddox Chivan Jolie-Pitt, 22, and Pax Thien Jolie-Pitt, 21.

Per the insiders, Jolie opened up to her friends by saying, "I'm just heartbroken," and urged that she has "always done" what she thought was right for her six children.

For the unversed, the mother of six, Maddox, Pax, Zahara, 20, Shiloh, 19, and 17-year-old twins Vivienne and Knox, filed for divorce in 2016 after a fight on a private jet, but it was finalised in December 2024, officially ending their 8-year legal battle over kids’ custody.

Notably, the high-profile Hollywood couple’s separation started one of Hollywood’s worst fights over children and their long court battle still keeps the family apart.

In 2020, Pax wrote a Father’s Day message, calling Pitt a “world-class a***hole” and went on to assert that his father made the younger siblings “tremble with fear.”

As per the sources, this message was like a “knife to Brad’s heart.”

The insiders stated the Troy actor has accepted that he may never have a relationship with Maddox and Pax again, as it has been a long time since both boys last contacted their father.

"He's devastated, but he's starting to realize that things with the older boys can’t be repaired. He thinks they've been turned against him,” the source claimed.

"People forget how close he used to be with both boys. He gave them the world, and now it's as if he’s been erased from their lives,” they noted.

“He's completely detached from Pax at this point – he sees his behavior as a reflection of his true character. Brad truly believes there's no way to repair their relationship,” the insiders said.
