Charlize Theron finally confirms ‘The Odyssey' casting?

Charlize Theron has seemingly let the world know about her plans for The Odyssey, and its been shared at her Charlize Theron Africa Outreach Project Block Party.

The 49-year-old’s film is said to release sometime in 2026 and will have director Christopher Nolan on the helm.

For those unversed, this film is a film adaptation on the classic poem by Homer, and while answering burning questions about what it was like to be on set, she explained to Variety’s Marc Malkin, “I haven’t. I leave in a couple of weeks.”

That question was then followed by a query about how she intends to prepare for the role, leading the actor to get pretty candid and say, “I don’t know. I’m just going to talk to Chris about it and we’ll see where it goes.”

“It’s super intimidating. I’m like the last one to show up. So, I’ll be like the new kid on the block, and everybody will know what they’re doing and not me.”
