Orlando Bloom breaks silence with cryptic posts after shock split from Katy Perry

Orlando Bloom seemingly hinted at "new beginnings" after his recent breakup with Katy Perry.

The Pirates of the Caribbean actor took to his Instagram account on Monday, June 30, and posted two quotes to his Stories showing how he is trying to stay positive after the shock split.

It is pertinent to mention that the 40-year-old singer and the 48-year-old actor reportedly called off their engagement after two decades of relationship.

In his recent candid post, Bloom reflected on taking the "first step" and "overcoming small fear".

He first shared a quote by Gautama Buddha, read, “Each day is a new beginning. What we do today is what matters most.”

In the following slide, he posted another saying by Japanese author Daisaku Ikeda, that read, "The important thing is to take that first step. Bravely overcoming one small fear gives you the courage to take on the next.”

Since the news of the pair split broke none have addressed it, however, Bloom's post suggests his positive outlook ahead.

For those unversed Bloom and Perry began dating in 2016 and got engaged in 2019. The former couple also welcomed daughter Daisy Dove in 2020.
