‘Cowardly' King Charles unable to take major decision on Harry, Meghan future

King Charles is said to be still deeply hurt by what his “darling boy” Prince Harry wrote about him in his explosive memoir, Spare.

However, the monarch is still not able to take a firm decision on Harry and his wife, Meghan Markle’s royal titles and future.

As per a report by Radar Online, Charles is too concerned about public backlash to strip Harry and Meghan of their Sussex titles. 

A royal insider revealed that Charles fears looking petty by removing the Duke and Duchess of Sussex’s title which was granted to Harry and Meghan by the late Queen Elizabeth.

"The king was especially stung by Harry labeling him an emotionally cold father in his scathing memoir, Spare,” they told the publication.

"But the monarch is very concerned about his image and fears backlash from his subjects. That's why he'd never dare take away Harry's Sussex title – despite all the hurt he's caused."

The went on to add that “behind the scenes, people are saying that the royals have quietly sanctioned the title removal – if Harry and Meghan step out of line again.”

“The removal would require an Act of Parliament, but those in the know say the palace has already called several secret meetings to discuss the possibility and put an actionable plan in place."

Calling Charles “cowardly,” the royal courtier further shared that he lacks the courage to “pull the trigger” on the couple but has allowed Prince William to take action.
