Brad Pitt recently got candid and opened up about which two actors captivated him.
The 61-year-old American actor and film producer showed up on Jason and Travis Kelce’s New Heights podcast, where he revealed that his 1991 American crime drama film Thelma & Louise costars Geena Davis and Susan Sarandon left him in awe.
Pitt, who played the role of J.D. in the drama film, said, “When I first met Geena Davis and Susan Sarandon, I was,” but he went on to laughingly admit that “Yeah. I got over it quickly, though.”
For the unversed, Thelma & Louise, which made the Troy star play his breakout role, is widely famous as a feminist landmark and has a cult following to date.
In the show, Pitt’s performance received wide acclaim as he sleeps with Thelma, played by Davis, and eventually robs her.
Notably, Davis previously opened up to Entertainment Weekly, sharing she gave her opinion on casting J.D. and thought she had good chemistry with Pitt.
It is pertinent to mention that Sarandon also said the F1 star was one of the few actors who had “the curiosity to not just coast in on their good looks” and “approached a lot of their leading men as character parts.”
