Gaten Matarazzo reveals name of co-stars who are on top in his inbox

Gaten Matarazzo, known for his role as Dustin in Stranger Things, revealed the two co-stars he is always in touch with through texting.

During the Stranger Things fifth and final season premiere in Los Angeles, the actor opened up about the real-life connection he has with his co-stars.

"I'm texting Finny (Finn Wolfhard) and Caleb (McLaughlin) a ton all the time," Matarazzo told  People Magazine. "They update a lot."

He added, "They like a good meme and a good laugh. A good voice memo, too. Those are always... We do a number of those on a frequent basis."

Elsewhere, talking about his experience of what the Stranger Things season finale table read was like, Matarazzo said, "That was December 2023."

"So even that was quite some time ago, and it was unreal," he continued. "Everyone was so excited about it, looking forward to it. It was good experience."

He added, "It was parcelled up over time, so we only read the first maybe three or four [episodes] at one time, and then we trickled in the other ones later on."

Stranger Things season finale volume one premiered on Netflix on November 26. Meanwhile, volumes two and three are slated for Christmas Day and New Year’s Eve, respectively.
