Dakota Johnson, Role Model go public with NYC stroll

New York just became the unofficial backdrop for Hollywood’s latest “wait… are they serious?” couple.

Dakota Johnson and Role Model were spotted strolling arm-in-arm through the city on April 22 – looking very much like two people who are not just grabbing fresh air.

Johnson kept it effortlessly cool in a ruby red jacket and black jeans, while the singer leaned into laid-back charm with a leather jacket and baseball cap.

Translation: coordinated without trying too hard.

And this is not a one-off sighting. Earlier this month, the pair were seen kissing in Los Angeles’ Los Feliz neighbourhood and doing what all new couples do – coffee runs. 

Even Johnson’s mom, Melanie Griffith, weighed in, telling a photographer, “I think he’s fabulous.” (Mom approval? That’s big.)

So what’s really going on? According to insiders, it’s not casual anymore. The duo are “definitely more than a fling, or just a flirt.” Still, Johnson is pacing herself after her long, on-and-off relationship with Chris Martin.

“She does really like” him, a source said, adding they’re “very much on the same page… and it just feels easy. She thinks he’s cute and he treats her incredibly well.”

Not bad for something that started as a quiet December hangout.

Of course, the internet is already invested. Are they official? Not quite labeled. Are they convincing? Very.
