Sophia Bush is a married woman once again!

The One Tree Hill star, 44, tied the knot with former soccer star Ashlyn Harris, 40, in the summer of 2025, the couple confirmed to Vogue in an interview published September 30. The newlyweds kept the news private for a year, choosing to enjoy the day with their family, including Harris’ two children, Sloane and Ocean.

“The kids were just running and happy,” Bush told Vigue, “because it wasn’t this pressure-filled day that’s too much for young kids.”

Harris welcomed Sloane and Ocean via adoption with fellow soccer player Ali Krieger. The former couple were married from 2019 to 2023. That same year, Bush was going through a divorce from entrepreneur Grant Hughes after just one year of marriage.

Bush and Harris, who had been friends since 2019, became each other’s support system through their respective divorces and eventually began dating.

Bush delves into more details about her big day in her upcoming memoir, And I Will Tell You Mine: Notes from a life in Progress, set for release on October 27. An excerpt of the memoir was shared by Vogue.

“A friend asked me how I could still believe in marriage knowing what I knew about how it could end,” Bush writes. “It surprised me how quickly and clearly I knew the answer. That if in ten years she and I grew into different people and didn’t want to be together, I would rather get divorced all over again.”
